Belt Conveyors
Belt conveyors are commonly used to transport bulk materials, especially in fields such under-ground and open-cast mines, stone pits, gravel pits, sand pits, and cement works.
We offer 2 basic types of belt conveyors:
Stationary conveyors
form the fundamental building block for conveying bulk materials from the mining site to the area where further processing takes place. They can also be used in other applications for the transport of bulk materials such as in cement works, wood processing plants and in the food and beverage industry.
Stacking conveyors
are used widely in the minerals processing industry. They are not only used for piling graded fractions but also for conveying material between individual machines (crushers, screeners) in quarries or sand and gravel pits.
Conveyor Design
The capacity of the conveyor depends on the width, speed and shape of the belt. The shape of the belt section depends on the shape of the idler station.
